Seam-Butchered Rump Roast is a but based on the Picanha cut, popular in South America. Throughout South America the Pincanha cut has over 300 years of tradition and is known as the "Noble Meat", reserved for special occasions.
The new Seam-Butchered Rump Roast is just one of many contemporary advancements in butchery techniques. Each roast is hand-trimmed from British farm assured beef, so you know it is guaranteed taste quality and full traceability. Whilst ideal for roasting, the Rump Roast is also versatile-you can cut into steaks or even use it for stir fry.

Cooking times:
Medium: Gas mark 4, 180°C, 35O°F for 35 minutes per 450g
Well done: Gas mark 4, 180°C, 350°F for 45 minutes per 450g

Great for Stir Frys (see more)
I am very impressed with the tenderness of this cut. I was skeptical about using it for a stir fry as it was quiet a lean piece of meat. However, the meat was tender and juicy - not tough and dry like of the supermarket cuts. Definitely buy again

I had never tried this cut before but being a kitchen enthusiast I thought I would give it a go. I can honestly say that this joint is mouth watering. I cut my 3 joint into steaks and they do were superb.
